TransFORMation: Freeing up, changing, shaping, trying out, daring to try something new – Anja Stemmer takes the freedom to practice her art experimentally.
This sets her apart from the classic Art Informel artists, whose style she can certainly be categorized as belonging to.
In contrast to the deliberately meaningless painting process of Art Informel in its pure form, her experimental approach requires preparation – an in-depth examination of the material, finesse in the choice of painting media and corresponding control of the material.
This enables the painting process to be repeated.
However, this repeatability only concerns the external factors.
The transformation of the flow of ideas onto the painting medium is of course situational and therefore the output is also individual.
But it is precisely this structural approach that gives rise to formally related, seemingly serial works that radiate a sovereignty, both as large-format canvases and as small-format abstract works, which can be felt from the very first moment you meet the artist.

She knows exactly what she is doing and how she is doing it, the rest is subject to the free artistic process.
The path alone is characterized by constant change.
Art is the outlet for this artist, who radiates so much calm on the outside, and the inherent energy is her motivation.
Her personal biography is also in a constant state of flux.
From a degree in physics to a successful career in international management to a fine artist.
Largely self-taught, Anja Stemmer explores the expressive possibilities of painting.
Full of optimism, confidence and a playful, experimental approach.
“You always have to take your freedom, and my works encourage you to do so.”
Her internationally recognized works are already represented outside Germany in private collections in Switzerland, Spain, Great Britain, Namibia and the USA, among others.

twelve - more than just a symbol.
The magical 12 beer lines.
Decisive and perfect.
The 12 is the symbol – the zero point of this transformation – like 12 o’clock as the separator of the day, usually symbolized by 12 beer lines, but also in many other forms of expression.
Because there is not just one reality.

"I paint according to the intention of my picture. Sometimes full of power, sometimes very devout. That's why painting always involves intensive preparation. The mood of the subject must be in you. Otherwise it won't be a painting.
mongi higgs
Mongi Higgs’ art condenses the “quantum foam” into a “reality” in which creation is revealed in its original form.
Luminous, clear and clean, real consciousness is not superimposed here by the garbage of civilization.
The moment – between the actually existing nothingness and the reality that emerges from it – is the decisive factor for art and, above all, for his personal work.
